Anna Ilveskoski

Anna Ilveskoski started her singing studies in 1999 with Liisa-Maria Esko. On Christmas 2009 she graduated from Pirkanmaa Polytechnic - University of Applied Sciences as Bachelor of Music. She studied years 2004-2007 with Petri Antikainen and from autumn 2008 with Susanna Tenkanen-Lindeman. In the year 2007-2008 she got a great opportunity to study in Austria at Graz Art University with Joanna Borowska as her coach. Anna has studied lied-music with Colin Hansen, Ilmo Ranta and Christine Whittlesey, oratorio with Karlheinz Donauer, and attended Jaakko Ryhänen's master courses. Anna has given concerts all around Finland performing chamber music. Anna made her first opera roles in the productions of Pirkanmaa Polytechnic of Kurt Weil's "Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny" and Mozart's "La Finta Giardinera".

Anna is also an active band musician. She has sung in the bands Candela Magica, Silentium, Evilion and In the Wake of Eden. Anna has been working as a studio musician with numerous bands. She studied sound design for films during the years 2002-2004. As well as a musician, Anna is also a vocal coach teaching in Tampereen laulukoulu singing studio. At the moment she concentrates on teaching and on her new band.
